Veteran Singer Tony Tetuila has lost his mother. The singer took to Instagram to share the sad news, revealing that she passed away on Tuesday, July 31st.

He shared; Maami,GOD took you to a better place yesterday, heaven gained a beautiful angel……Rest in peace in JESUS Name will always be on my mind…there is no one like you maami.oh my GOD 💔

May the lord grant the family the ability to bear the loss.

Breaking: President Muhammadu Buhari Elected As ECOWAS Chairman

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday emerged the chairman of the Economic Community of West African States.

Buhari on Tuesday replaced the Togolese president, Faire Gnassigbe. He was named as the chairman at the end of the commission’s meeting in Togo today.

His Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, disclosed this in a message posted on his Twitter handle, @BashirAhmaad.

He wrote, “President @MBuhari emerges as the new Chairman of the ECOWAS.”

In a telephone interview, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu confirmed the emergence of the President, saying “He did not ask for it, they just gave it to him.”

Breaking News: Senate President Bukola Saraki finally Dumps APC

Nigeria’s Senate President Bukola Saraki has, after weeks of speculation, dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress.

He made this announcement via his verified twitter accounts, he wrote:

 “I wish to inform Nigerians that, after extensive consultations, I have decided to take my leave of the All Progressives Congress (APC).”

“Donald Trump is Using Sports to Divide Us” – LeBron James(Watch Video)

In an interview with CNN, LeBron James has called out President Donald Trump  for using sports to create a racial divide and just like a number of non Trump fans, Lebron claims he is having none of it.

The basketball champion who launched an elementary school for kids at-risk shared in an interview with CNN‘s Don Lemon:

“What I’ve noticed over the past few months, (Is) he’s kinda used sports to kinda divide us, and that’s something that I can’t relate to

Citing a number of examples including Trump’s reaction to Colin Kaepernick‘s kneeling protest and most recently, Stephen Curry‘s. Lebron added: “I can’t sit back and say nothing.”

The four-time NBA MVP also revealed how influential sports was for him as a youngster. He shared that participating in youth athletics gave him an opportunity to meet with Whites and interact for the first time.

Sports was the first time I was ever around someone white. I got an opportunity to see them and learn about them, and they got the opportunity to learn about me … And I was like, ‘Oh wow, this is all because of sports.”
